about me

I'm passionate about designing digital landscapes to transform and empower experiences.

my story

I'm a UX Designer at Intact, and currently completing my Master's in Digital Experience Innovation from the University of Waterloo. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Studies from the University of Toronto, a journey that enriched my expertise in design thinking, human-centered strategies, and user-centered research.

drive to learn

Fueled by an insatiable curiosity, I'm passionate about embracing new learning opportunities. Whether it involves mastering a fresh design tool or delving into a new language, I relish the process of acquiring new skills. In my view, learning is an endless adventure with limitless horizons.

strengths

When faced with tough challenges, I'm good at finding practical design solutions that aren't too complicated. These solutions not only scale effectively but also embrace inclusivity, reflecting my commitment to human-centric design principles. This strong desire to understand complex problems and create solutions that improve people's experiences motivates me to develop digital products that have a positive impact on everyday life.

During my downtime

When I'm not working, I find comfort in reading books, watching true crime documentaries, and trying out new crafts.

Fun Fact: I am a 3rd degree black belt in Taekwondo :-)

My Design Philosophy

learn
Design is like a never-ending school where I'm always learning something new. Each day brings fresh lessons, whether it's tackling my daily tasks or simply observing the world around me. Every little detail, from the way people interact with products to the colors of nature, adds to my understanding and shapes how I approach my work. It's this constant process of absorbing and adapting that keeps me growing and improving as a designer.
impact
Design carries weight in the world, influencing things in various ways, either for the better or the worse. By recognizing the impact I can have and actively seeking out opportunities to make beneficial changes, I contribute to a brighter, more impactful design landscape. Whether it's through thoughtful solutions, sustainable practices, or inclusive approaches, every effort adds up to create a ripple effect of positivity within the design community and beyond.
simplify
When I make an effort to simplify things, it enables me to dive deeper into understanding the problem at hand and identify the opportunities it presents. By breaking down complex issues into simpler components, I can gain a clearer perspective and grasp the nuances of the situation more thoroughly. This process not only allows me to address the immediate challenges more effectively but also opens up avenues for innovative solutions and creative approaches.
human(s)
Ultimately, the essence of everything revolves around people—our clients, peers, and family. My professional journey isn't a solitary path but rather a collaborative effort that involves the input and support of those around me. Recognizing the interconnectedness of our lives, I understand that my work impacts not only myself but also those I interact with daily. This awareness drives me to foster meaningful connections and seek out diverse perspectives in all that I do.
